Chapter 21 - Chapter 16 Part 2

The two quickly added each other as friends and entered the game interface.

Bo He chose the island map and invited the other person to follow.

"Chuan Chuan" was, as always, obedient and quiet, doing whatever his master said.

But tonight, he had a small request.

Bo He saw a line of small text appear in the dialogue box in the upper-right corner.

Qin Chuan: I haven't played much, I'm afraid I won't be able to track enemy movements in time. Can you use voice chat to give commands?

Bo He smiled and turned on the voice chat button.

"Of course," she said cheerfully.

The other side went silent.

Because they were about to parachute and land, the two were busy entering houses to loot items.

Bo He didn't forget to remind the other person to come over and pick things up.

"Disciple, there's a UMP9 here, come and get it."

"Disciple, I have a first aid kit!"

"Don't run too fast, there's a fight ahead. Let's wait for them to finish."

It was always Bo He speaking in the team voice chat; the other person never opened his mouth.

The sound of fighting in the residential area intensified. This area had always been a hotspot for looting supplies, only slightly better than the most brutal airport.

Bo He had just instantly killed an enemy downstairs and leaped down from the second floor when, out of the corner of her eye, she caught the sound of gunfire from her disciple's direction, immediately followed by a notification that he had been hit.

"Where are you?" Bo He said, maneuvering her character to run over and save him. "Downstairs or on the second floor? Is it convenient for you to speak? Voice communication is faster."

"Chuan Chuan" remained silent. The moment he was completely finished off by the enemy, two words appeared on the screen.

Second floor.

It was too late. Bo He had already rushed into the house.

...

There were at least three enemies in that house: two on the second floor, one on the first.

But in that short amount of time, Qin Chuan had no time to type.

He of course knew that voice communication was faster.

But if he spoke, wouldn't his cover be blown?

For now, he still wanted to preserve a bit of the pure gaming experience and had no intention of exposing himself.

He selected spectator mode, thinking that the other person would probably die soon due to his lack of intel.

But unexpectedly, it was as if Bo He had eyes on the back of her head. The moment she rushed into the house, she turned and sprayed at the doorway, and the enemy planning to ambush her from behind the door was caught off guard and killed.

Two more on the second floor!

Qin Chuan's spirits lifted, and he quickly typed to add the information.

He didn't know if Bo He saw it or not.

Bo He didn't go upstairs again. Instead, she left directly and entered the house next door.

Before Qin Chuan could even react, she had already rushed up to the second floor, switched her submachine gun to an M24, and fired a shot directly at the head bobbing in the window.

Without even using a scope.

The notification that an enemy was knocked down appeared on the screen. Qin Chuan was stunned for a moment.

At the banquet tonight, he had already learned how Bo He's stunning marksmanship had made Wei Feizhou look at her in a new light.

But at that time, his mind was completely occupied with how to persuade Wei Feizhou to cooperate; it was completely different from spectating now.

After firing the shot, Bo He jumped out of the second-floor window and re-entered the previous house.

She stood downstairs and waited for a moment, motionless.

Qin Chuan: Are you lagging?

Bo He said, "I only hit one just now. The other one will definitely be healing his teammate and is afraid I'll rush them. I'll wait a bit to lower their guard."

As soon as she said this, she rushed up to the second floor.

Sure enough, the two were indeed healing. Bo He aimed, sprayed, and landed headshots with lightning speed.

Clean and decisive.

Bo He: "Disciple, how about we start a new round? I'll carry you through a full game?"

Qin Chuan: No need. You keep playing, I'll just spectate.

Bo He: "But I have to get off after this round. While it's still early, I'm going to go write a work document."

Hearing this, Qin Chuan raised an eyebrow and typed a line of text—

Working overtime on a weekend night? Don't you think your boss is utterly devoid of conscience?
